I'm pretty sure I have moved this IKEA play kitchen into every room in our house. It first started out in our living room, and then I moved it into the dining room and now it is in the girls room all settled in. I will most likely keep it there until I change my mind again. ;) I originally had planned to hack this play kitchen and give it to the girls for Christmas, but we got so busy renovating our kitchen that I decided to hold off on the hack until our kitchen was complete. Plus, it was raining non stop which made it impossible to spray paint outside. Well, months later the weather was finally nice enough to where I was able to spray paint the kitchen and give it to the girls for their birthday. They loved it! I originally painted the hardware a metallic copper color but I did not like the way it turned out so I spent a week scraping it all off. I know, I know so ridiculous... but I wanted it to look exactly how I envisioned it. I came across this rose copper color at Home Depot and I am loving how seamlessly it ties the girls' kitchen together. (P.S If you can, I highly recommend buying this kitchen closer to christmas because it was on sale and we scored it for only $79!!) Also, how beautiful are these prints? They were gifted to us from Bella Adele Co and I can't get enough of them! They go perfectly with the girls kitchen. I'll link everything down below! :)

Addy turns THREE & Ella turns ONE!
^ cousins decorating their flower crowns
^ not happy about us singing Happy Birthday to her. Addy wasn't happy either so tyler was holding her.
Ella kept that flower crown on the entire time! I was so shocked! However, Addy wanted nothing to do with hers. haha!
Phew! What a fun weekend it was celebrating my two favorite girls with family! We decided to throw the girls birthday party together since their birthdays are only 1 week apart. I decided to decorate for the girls party this year, since I wasn't able to the past two years for Adalynn. The first year we were moving to San Diego and the year after that, Ella was born just days before so planning a party wasn't on the agenda. I figured this would be the perfect year to host a floral party for my girls and they loved it! While I was outside setting everything up, they were by me the entire time, touching the flowers and looking at everything I was doing. I love that they love to be outside! While planning for their party I was a pinning maniac! I got most of my ideas from Pinterest and 100 Layer Cake-let. Seriously guys, I highly recommend their website for your little ones birthday! They have such creative ideas and I found myself on their site more than Pinterest. Since I knew we were going to have lots of cousins over, I set up a little station for the girls to make flower crowns and a fun little game of corn hole for the guys, because the hubs loves to play that game! We had a table filled with sweets that I made the night before. Let me just say, I have never baked so much in my entire life. My hands are still recovering! But the kids loved it and were anxious to get their hands on all of the sweets. Once I was finished taking pictures they attacked it haha! I'd say it was a successful birthday party for the girls and now that I got that out of my system we will be going to Chuck E Cheese's next year! :)
As always, Thanks for stopping by!

Nicole
